If you’re looking for authentic brand photography in Fife, my mini brand sessions at Banchory Farm near Kinghorn were the perfect example of how powerful short, story-driven shoots can be. Set at the beautiful Drinkwater West cottage, these sessions gave my clients the chance to capture images that reflect their personality, professionalism, and passion, all in one stunning location.
There’s something special about photographing women who are building beautiful, creative businesses each one unique, but all connected by the same drive to create something meaningful.
November’s sessions were full of connection, conversation, and creativity.
I worked with three amazing women:
🌿 GN Wellness, Genna a nutritional therapist from Perthshire specialising in empowering busy women to reclaim their vitality

.
✨ Danielle Simpson Interiors from Edinburgh — bringing her love of timeless, elegant spaces to life.

🎨 Jaclyn Stuart, an artist from Fife whose work I was privileged to see up close and be very much part of her session.

Each of them came with their own story, their own energy. Using props and outfits to create their own identity even though they were using the same location.
Mini brand sessions are perfect if you’re new to brand photography, or if you just need a visual refresh.
They’re shorter and more affordable than a full brand shoot, but still give you a gallery of polished, professional images you can use across your website, social media, and marketing materials.
These sessions are relaxed, guided, and designed to capture the real you — no awkward posing or overwhelm. I even help you before the shoot by hosting a zoom call to talk through your brand vibe, props, wardrobe and location. The sessions are a brilliant way to build confidence in front of the camera while creating photos that truly reflect your brand if you want more details of what’s included click here.
Banchory Farm near Kinghorn has become one of my favourite locations for brand sessions. The light at Drinkwater West cottage is simply beautiful — soft, natural, and perfect for that calm, creative energy I love to capture.
With rustic textures, open fields, and charming interiors, it gives the shoot a warm, timeless feel. It’s the kind of setting that instantly puts people at ease, allowing their personality to shine through.

One of the conversations that stuck with me during the day was about how your brand is not just about your products or services. It’s about you.
What inspires you.
Who you are.
What it feels like to work with you.
That’s what people connect with, not just the finished piece of art, the styled interior, or the thoughtful coaching offer, but the person and the energy behind it. Your brand photos should convey that same energy, the vibe people get when they meet you, work with you, or step into your world.

One of the highlights from the day was working with Danielle Simpson, who runs a beautiful interior design studio in Edinburgh. After receiving her gallery, she shared how much she appreciated the direction and guidance during her shoot — from posture and movement to creating a natural, confident flow in front of the camera.
She later told me her mum called her after seeing the photos and said they looked gorgeous and that I had really captured her personality. Hearing that absolutely made my day.
Danielle told me she now feels excited to market her business — she finally has images that reflect her work and her personality, and that confidence shines through.
Another lovely piece of feedback I received that day was about direction — helping people know what to do with their hands, how to hold themselves, where to look.
My clients aren’t professional models. They’re creatives, founders, and talented women who are brilliant at what they do but often nervous in front of a camera. My job is to make them feel confident, guided, and relaxed, to capture their natural confidence, not a posed version of it.

If showing up on camera still feels a little daunting, I created something just for you — my free guide, Confident and Candid.

The mini brand sessions at Banchory Farm weren’t just about taking beautiful photos (though the setting certainly helped!). They were about capturing the heart behind each business — the passion, creativity, and confidence that every one of these women brings to what they do.
Because great brand photography isn’t just about being seen — it’s about being understood.

If you’re a creative business owner who wants brand photos that help you show up confidently — even on the days you don’t feel camera-ready — I’d love to work with you.
